Bio
Jeffery Salomon earned a B.F.A. in Studio Art from the University of Tampa in 2026 and holds a B.A. in Political Science from Christopher Newport University. As a nontraditional artist, his path to contemporary art has been shaped by years of hands-on experience spanning both labor and management, as well as a broad range of life experiences.
Salomon's work has been exhibited in the University of Tampa's 2023 and 2026 Annual Juried Student Art Exhibitions, including the 2026 exhibition sponsored by NASAD, as well as the University's 2026 B.F.A. Capstone Exhibition. He was recognized as the University of Tampa's Art Therapy Student of the Year in 2025 and was named to the Dean's List throughout his undergraduate studies.
Working across sculpture, photography, and installation, Salomon investigates how individuals navigate the social, cultural, and institutional structures that shape everyday life. Ordinary objects frequently become central to these investigations, carrying social, cultural, and psychological weight while inviting multiple interpretations.
He lives and works in the Tampa Bay region of Florida, where he approaches his studio practice with curiosity, recognizing that art and life are ongoing processes of discovery.
