Bio

Jeff Salomon is a multidisciplinary artist working in sculpture, assemblage, photography, printmaking, and drawing. His work explores the systems of power, culture, and social organization
that structure human experience, often examining themes of identity, access, memory, containment, and transformation.

A non-traditional artist, Salomon brings a broad range of life experiences to his practice. Raised in a military family and arriving at the visual arts later in life, he approaches artmaking through a
perspective informed by personal experience, critical inquiry, and a lifelong curiosity about the structures that influence how individuals understand themselves and navigate the world. His
background in political science and studio art informs an interdisciplinary approach that draws connections between social systems, personal experience, and visual culture.

Drawing inspiration from art, literature, music, philosophy, and social theory, Salomon creates works that invite viewers to engage with ambiguity, uncover relationships, and construct meaning through their own experiences.

Salomon earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art from the University of Tampa in 2026 and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. He lives and works in the Tampa Bay area of Florida.
